My mom gave me this yarn and I figured I’d just make a hat out of it because it’s sort of not good for much else other than felting. :)

This yarn is a pain to work with. It’s really thin in some places and thick in others. You’d think it was a handspun, except it was only one ply, like someone had taken wool and just stretched it really thin.

I couldn’t find my 10.5 16 inch circular so I used 11s. I had to make the ribbing 6 rows instead of 7 and when I bound off I barely had anything left to weave in.

So I used the 10.5 DPNs to start, switched to 11 circular, bound of with a 10 circular. I probably could have knit the body with the 10, but the yarn is so bulky in some places I thought it’d be better to go with a larger needle.
