Chirality Socks

Striped sole! There's also a slip stitch seam up the middle I didn't take a picture of.

I had a ton of fun making these socks, at least until I got past the gusset. Then it felt absolutely grueling. You just want to be DONE, you know?

I modified the patter to take out the strips of  main color (which in my case is the blue) between each zigzag design. I wanted a nice tiled look instead of the bands of design like a true mosaic.  Because of this, my heel flap is shorter and I had to modify the gusset a bit.

This yarn was neat to use and is really stretchy. I didn’t block the socks at all because I wanted to wear them right away, and the yarn is loosening up on its own. I’m actually hoping they will tighten back up after a wash & dry because they are a bit loose after a day of wear.

This was originally presented as a mystery sock, so I got a clue per week in January and took pictures as I completed each one.
