Purely Delightful

It came out pretty neat!

Pattern: Purely Delightful by Rebecca Leigh
Yarn: Bernat Baby Sport Solid in Peach Blossom
Hook: 5.5 mm (I)

This is the biggest baby blanket I have done yet. It took very close to a full skein of Bernat Baby Sport, clocking in at 1024 yards or thereabouts. I hope the baby doesn’t drown in it or something. XD

This blanket is for future cousin Therese. I finished it last week, but the baby shower was today. Plus I didn’t get a clear picture of it until yesterday, because when I take pictures of yarn projects at night with my iPhone they come out super blurry.

I’m not sure I’d make this blanket again for a while. It was grueling!

  1. So pretty – I know how much effort you put into it. That is one lucky baby for sure!

  2. I am making this pattern right now and am trying to find out if there are any pattern mistakes starting with row 18 do you remember having to correct that row I am thinking that before you do the 12 dc you should always be doing the skip next ch-2 sp and next dc and not just the skip next ch-2 sp? I would appreciate knowing if you had the same issue I am having with this pattern. Thanks your blanket looks great!

    • I’m sorry, it’s been so long that I don’t remember anymore. I usually try to note in ravelry when I have an issue, but sometimes my brain auto-corrects things and I don’t notice.
