Welcome to the first ever Squee Sunday! You can read about Squee Sunday here.
Squee Sunday can be for a lot of different things, like bragging about new fiber-related purchases, talking about an awesome new tip you learned, posting smaller FOs or WIPs that you feel aren’t “big” enough for Finished Object Friday or Work in Progress Wednesday, or even putting up pictures of your pet, because you know they love your hobby, so you should love them on your blog, too!
My squee this week will be of my latest KnitPicks order. I saw that all of their lovely new harmony wooden buttons had a big “Goodbye!” on them, so I bought a bunch of those.
Plus, I dropped $50 on 18 skeins of CotLin with which I am planning to make Baile (I think this means I’ve gone quite insane). The colors are Black and Blackberry.
It’s only going to have two layers of the lace ruffle because my yarn budget’s too small and don’t have enough time to get in that last layer. It’ll be black with purple ruffle, and that leaves me with an extra skein of purple that I’ll use for swatching purposes. I need to see how far this baby will grow! I heard CotLin grows lengthwise more than width-wise so I don’t think it will matter much if the skirt is a bit longer, so long as it still hugs my curves. :)
I wasn’t going to put up pictures of the cat this time around, but Dijjit must have sensed this and came over to slay me with cute while I was taking pictures.
