Rip It Good

WIP Wednesday #28

I got a lot done this week, so you’ll have FOs for a few weeks for sure! I got the Baby Dragon Scarf blocked, the Bunny Loop Mitts #2 are drying, and I cast off my 20-whatever-leaves shawlette.

I’m going to have to queue my Thursday and Friday posts tonight (Tuesday) so that they’re ready, because I’m going to Todd’s parents’ house in NY for Thanksgiving so I won’t be home to make the posts. Just so you know.

So, with the brown mitts cast off, I’ve cast on a new pair of green ones. I assure you this isn’t just a picture of the other green ones I did.

And here’s a second happy beer cross stitch! I know most of you guys couldn’t give two twaddles about cross stitch, but it’s a project done with fiber so I’m logging it here. I think the stitches are coming out a lot more evenly this time around.

FOAM!

And finally I did some work on the baby blanket. I decided to do all the centers of squares first, and then do the colors, and then do the borders. I have all the centers done, and actually I have all the green finished as well. After I tuck in ends for the green, I’ll move to a new color.

  1. I love the grannies and am so impressed by your cross stitching patience!

  2. Happy Thanksgiving! I do like to see cross stitch as well – I just wish I had the patience and that my eyes were up to it!

  3. I love how the granny squares are turning out! I can’t wait to see the blanket when it’s all finished.

  4. I love watching cross stitch pictures appear and build up one colour at a time. The Granny squares for the blanket look great and I love the colour of the new fingerless mitts. :)

  5. Can’t wait to see your grannies put together…really cute! And your cross-stitch may have just given me a great idea! Unfortunately, it would be a gift for myself, so it will have to wait until I am done with Christmas crafting! Boo!
