I actually finished these socks on December 13, 2009, but I am leaving the post current so everyone can see the awesome pictures that Mom 2 sent me from the first time she wore them!  She even used the matching purple nail polish I found when I gave them to her, and she has informed me that they are surprisingly comfortable. =D

Mom 2 has washed and dried the socks, but they are still a bit loose on her feet. Even though I’m pretty sure they’ll just get tighter over time since that’s what all my other socks from this yarn are doing, I think next time I make a pair of these I will use size 0 needles so they will always be nice and snug.
