“You use these words like I know what the hell they mean. Skein?” Time to learn the difference between skeins, hanks, balls, and yarn cakes. I’m sure you’re salivating with excitement.

I started this hat last November and had to put it down to complete Xmas gifts. Even though the pattern isn’t written in English, it has a chart so it’s easy as pie to follow.

This gift set I made for mom for Xmas was done with yarn I had left over from the Sunflower Afghan I made for her birthday.

I made this hat for my Grandpa for X-Mas. It was very simple but grueling.

I always have fun making Hermione’s cable and eyelet hat. After the initial really boring ribbed brim, it goes really quickly.

I made this set for a little boy about to go through chemotherapy for someone in my knitting group. She asked us all if we could make hats or toys for him, and since I figured he’d be getting lots of hats I decided to make some toys. Nintendo isn’t terribly original – once they create a character, they proceed to use that character over and over and over again. If this boy has a Gamecube or a Wii and has played ANY Mario game whatsoever, he’ll surely recognize these characters!

This afghan was, unsurprisingly, for my mother’s birthday. She loves sunflowers! I’m lucky that she hasn’t stopped liking them. It makes gift giving very easy.

This was a mystery shawl that started in June, 2009. I managed to keep up with clue releases until clue 4, and then I fell behind and eventually gave up on the shawl altogether until August 2010, when I motored on it and finished it for my birthday.
