I have a huge backlog of stuff to post, all made between October and January, so let’s start with this here baby blanket, shall we?

You know you want to look at a blanket that contains an obscure (in present-day, anyway) Doctor Who reference.

Mosaic knitting is awesome, and these Chirality socks are a great example of how beautiful mosaic knits can come out when you use high-contrast colors.

I started this hat last November and had to put it down to complete Xmas gifts. Even though the pattern isn’t written in English, it has a chart so it’s easy as pie to follow.

This gift set I made for mom for Xmas was done with yarn I had left over from the Sunflower Afghan I made for her birthday.

I made this hat for my Grandpa for X-Mas. It was very simple but grueling.

I always have fun making Hermione’s cable and eyelet hat. After the initial really boring ribbed brim, it goes really quickly.

I made this set for a little boy about to go through chemotherapy for someone in my knitting group. She asked us all if we could make hats or toys for him, and since I figured he’d be getting lots of hats I decided to make some toys. Nintendo isn’t terribly original – once they create a character, they proceed to use that character over and over and over again. If this boy has a Gamecube or a Wii and has played ANY Mario game whatsoever, he’ll surely recognize these characters!
